Would you know what to do if someone went into cardiac or respiratory arrest? What medication and dosage would you give to help someone having a heart attack? Do you work with children or need CPR as a qualification for healthcare?
Join us on Saturday 7th November in Clayton Hotel Silversprings, Cork, for our 1 day Basic First Aid course which includes a Cardiac First Response qualification.
Cardiac First Response gives you a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council certificate, lasting 2 years. This qualification is recognised by HSE, HSA and all employers. This covers: * CPR/AED use for infants, children and adults *How to identify and treat heart attacks *How to identify and treat someone having a stroke *Choking for infants, children and adults *Critical Incident Stress Management
With the basic first aid you will receive a certificate of attendance and cover: *How to assess a patient and the scene *Breaks/Sprains/Strains and Dislocations *Burns *Bleeds *Positioning of a patient including Recovery Position *Concussion *Common Emergencies

includes Cardiac First Response certificate, Basic First Aid certificate, CFR Handbook, all necessary PPE and teas/coffee on day of event. Free parking is also available on site.
